Zhenyu (Fischer) Lei

PhD student working on how LLMs reason, remember, and compress what they know — and turning the same tools on brain-disorder prediction.

I'm a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia, advised by Jundong Li. My research centers on LLM reasoning, memory, and distillation, with brain-disorder prediction and AI for science as secondary interests.
